What makes the Purpose Planner different?
The structure of the Purpose Planner centres around connectivity and holistic planning. Where most planners simply provide space for schedules and activity, the Purpose Planner goes several layers deeper, guiding you to set compartmentalised goals for the next 6 months and then connecting and tracking them across your life, to your learning, rewards, monthly projects and weekly tasks.

A key feature behind the design is that you shouldn’t have to carry around a planner and a notebook. The Purpose Planner doubles up as both with 93 blank numbered, dot-grid note pages.
What is the size of the notebook?
The A5 version (14x21cm / 5.8” x 8.3” and about 1.5cm thick) is compact and lightweight while still providing sufficient space for your planning, journaling and note-taking.
The flexible soft cover is the preferred choice for those that want a lighter, more tactile feel, while the hardcover is for those that prefer a sturdier choice.
What is the best way to optimize the weekly dashboard?
The weekly planning spread is at the heart of the Purpose Planner and is designed to be a 1-stop strategy dashboard for the week ahead. We recommend setting out your priorities, daily habits and schedules for the week on a Sunday evening or Monday morning. What this does is give you clarity about your priorities and focuses you on the tasks, routines and relationships that move the needle in your life.
You will find yourself minimising “busy-work” while taking care of those annoying admin items that you typically procrastinate. The weekly dashboard also speaks to you. The sections that are left blank make you aware of the gaps in your life and it’s up to you to fill them in.

I have used every journal and I love this one but half a year is too short. You have big planning sections up front that are great but you have to start over every six months and transfer all that valuable knowledge from one planner to another. But blank pages in between each and every week which is a bit of overkill. I would GLADLY trade those pages for extra weeks and months so I can keep this planner for an entire year. I'm kind of stumped that no one has mentioned this anywhere. People often plan projects, events, dr appts, concerts many months in advance and I found that I am missing important things because you are forced to transfer this information from one planner to another and then also lose 6 months of history when you do. Please just fix this and it will be perfect.

I love the new A5 format. The full size planner was nice, but I didn't realize how much extra space their was until I moved to the smaller format. There are a few compromises... the daily gratitude is gone and the habit tracker is smaller. But overall, I am very pleased with the change!

For years I've tried to find the right planner. I found this last year on an article showcasing a list of the "best planners" and I don't think I'll ever use anything else.
The idea of starting with a purpose (the roles section) and using that to filter your goals and ideals helps you truly figure out what's the MOST important thing to do. I can easily find a thousand small tasks and easily check them off; but what is the best use of my time? This planner helps you decide that.
The weekly template is the thing I love most about this planner. Having my overall goals for the week, my habits and a place to write down little things is just incredible. I always feel prepared. Then having two full blank pages every week to doodle/write/color gives you infinite possibilities. I would always try to emulate this idea manually in other planners and that always took a ton of time and wasn't truly what I should have spent time doing.
The other really nice thing is that my wife and I will sit down every Sunday night and go over each other's plan for the week. That way we both know what's going on and understand each other's plans and purpose for the upcoming week. She's used hers to meal plan and prepare for homeschooling our kids.
I can't say enough about this planner. It's helped me figure out what's important and finally understand that being busy for busy's sake is ironically unproductive.

So excited to make a start in my new A5 planner. The Roterunner Purpose Planner is the only planner that has ever fully fit and supported my planning needs for all the different hats I wear.
